    Hi Pilgram8,

I'm not sure how to do that.

Are you aware that the scroll wheel works differently with certain keys held down?

Wheel without a key is vertical scroll.

Wheel with Shift Key is horizontal scroll.

Wheel with Control Key is Zoom In/Out.

    Thanks

No! I didn't know that... really great!

The push tool feature was a tip at the end of the "Absolute Beginners" movie #2, but it doesn't seem to work with my mouse.

    Thanks again for responding

Pressing down on the scroll wheel of the mouse uses the Push tool. I have an optical USB Microsoft mouse and works well on this one. No adjustments with any software for the mouse, just PnP.
    Maybe the mouse you have?

thanks Bill for the Alt - Ctrl keys tips!

Thanks! Your probably right, my mouse is about 10 years old.

It's the old Itelimouse Pro... but none of the wireless opticals (I have tried them all) have the responsivness I like.

    Thanks again

Sure thing! Mine is not wireless just USB-Optical.

Maybe if you played with the settings in the Intellimouse software would provide some solution.

    Good luck!
