upgrade to cd version?

I originally purchased xara pro 3.0.1.692 Dec 13th 2006 download version.

I have since received the CD in the mail. do i install the CD version over the top? I won't loose anything by doing so?

I also do not see my reg number in the "about xara extreme pro"

Install over the download will let you keep your settings.

The registration number is on the box.

Your Registration Number in On YOUR Page @ Xara too... In fact ALL Your Registration Numbers are Listed for you there...

hi, yes i knew my reg was in my website profile but i was just saying after i installed the downloaded version it did not display any reg number. but more important i knowing i can just install the cd version over th top

Just a fyi/reminder incase anyone (not necessarily you) forgot and needed. I, too, am wondering about installing over (after reading some of the happenings here with Folks -going to backup settings, as soon as I find out where they are)...

I still haven't been able to install my CD version so I woudl definitely recommend you back up your settings if you feel you need to. Personally, it takes all of 2 minutes to set most of them up again so I don't see it as much of a risk.
