The tiles I was viewing. i wanted to draw a few of my own.

Looks very good Rich.
I didn't know tin tiles were back in style. Many of the old buildings on Broadway in Nashville had tin tile ceilings. Most of them have been demolished and replaced with highrise condos![]()

Bill,
I believe some people were more comfortable with things the way they were in the past.
I made another based on those shiny boulders Mook and Kai dig up in the garden. Better than hauling them off to the metal recycle bin. They are too heavy to move, and I need to use the winch. Nothing but trouble.

Thanks Germaine,
I was looking at textures, but they didn't seem to be tileable. I have been building masks to match the tile size I will be using. As long as the layers are tileable, the resulting image is tileable. I used XXP to make the atttached tile, and used some bump mapping.

I was trying to make a gereralized tile making drawing.

Rich is that last tile Abalone paving stones? Looks great. Would make a beautiful walking path through a garden and arboritum.

Bill,
Abalone pavers over an Abalone background.
I tried laying out images, but it seemed too difficult to make changes (the green tiles), and I decided to make a drawing.
Thanks Judi,
I always think of your work when I make tiles. Egg too.
