+ just wanted to add... as I saw the article (link next)
on the Scribus board today... it seems I am by far not the
only one clammering for XaraLX progress... this looks very
exciting. Here is link:

Not specifically answering to my proposal for attracting new
developers/coders... what this article discusses is a major
break in the long-standing CDraw controversy... I dont fully
understand the ramifications, but again it does look like this
will mean a renewed startup to the XaraLX project.
