    Hi,
I was kidding about the shadows...the top left corner has been altered?

I know! You drew in all the trees! (In grade school a teacher told us that by the end of the Middle Ages most of the forests in England had been clearcut. I imagined that there were no trees left...)

    Regards, Ross

PS - Those trees you drew look very real. Good job!

    Hi,

Ross. I wish I was that good at drawing trees http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/smile.gif In fact there is now one less tree in that row than there was when I took the photo as we lost one in hurricane force winds.

Mac. Yep, you got it (again), I did add a square with a graduated transparency in the top left corner to match the right.

Is is time to show you the original yet? I'm off to bed now but will share in the morning if you like so you can compare.

Just a note there is one more alteration to find.

"Err.... you removed the church?" - Egg

If she did, that would be one heck of a slice and dice... We should call her the slice-o-matic if she did...

Last guess ... did you alter the contrast or brightness of the tombstones to make them stand out?

    OK, time to 'fess up.

Egg, I wish I was able to remove a whole church! Good job with that. But no, the church was not moved, it was actually just to the right of the bit I photographed. Perhaps I should have said "church yard" in my post.

OK I have uploaded the original photo below so you can see what I did. The bit that stumped everyone was a yellow rectangle with linear transparency on the grass at the bottom left, to lighten up the shadows there.

I'm not sure how to upload a .xar file so you can see how I did it, sorry.

Oooo, you are sneeky Carol!! http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif

Uploading .xar files are the same as uploading image files or zip files here. Click on the paper clip icon, browse to where the file is living and then add in a title and upload it. Keep it under 300 Kb's and your all set to go!! http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/smile.gif
