You can look here, and maybe try the plugins to see if they work for you.

(disclaimer: still very new & learning)

I am trying these plugins... Create some planets & Suns... but can't seem to move in different positions on page after created... Is this something where I have to make background that is used transparent, then move the Whole Page to new position over another page to get it where I want on a page?
(won't go into I can't rotate after creating...) Thanks

I only use SBP. XXP isn't one of the listed host, but it does work. There are a few free pluging from FP as well. Maybe a couple of screen shots to see what your trying to do.

Plugin is called Xara Xtreme PRO

everything is hand made - 4 cirkles - one with feather for light part clipviewed to cirkle for base bluish color, one with bitmap fill from moon fotography with feather and transparency and one black on the top with feather and transparency for shadow.

Another big cirkle with blu color, transparency and feather is applyed under all for moon glow...

Sun texture is created with Xara native plasma fill.....

Trust Minimirol to do WITHOUT plugins more than most of can do WITH them.

Thanks for the information, the tutorial and the challenge. We need to be reminded that sometimes a shortcut is not a time saver.

    This is a beautiful image!

Glitterato from Flaming Pear is a great plugin which makes star backgrounds, nebulae etc. This is the kind of thing that is useful in conjunction with pure Xara planets and such.

Sweet that you use one of the plugins I have rarely found a good use for. Do you have any SBP stuff you can show me? What I really like as far as graphics go is this space and planets stuff, glass, 3D lettering... still looking for a good plexiglass lettering tutorial... I am open to learning what kind of stuff people use SBP for though.
Yes, yes, and what if the core is made of CHEESE?
