Importing from Photoshop - text layers

I am just experimenting with PS import. I have a document that has a bunch of object and text layers - however on import Xara says that the text layers are unsupported and will be rasterised. Is this always the case? Can we not maintain text between apps?

I don't think so..do your text in xara..tao
