Even tried X1 which is much more stable than Xpro, I can see your red car, think it is an old Austin, and the start of a tyre and that all a then I get the spurious error and crash. Sorry I tried but unless you had layers swithed off you havn't lost alot of work?

Thanks Albacore for trying. I never or rarely use layers when I draw. I too tried an earlier version and saw the preview but not the final picture. Ah well unless something comes up I will just have to start again. happy new year to you.

    Hi Norman,

BB2 may have used the ExpanderXar.exe available at Gary's XaraXone http://www.xaraxone.com/html/shareware.html.

BB2 has provided some excellent information for several of Xara's products. I sometimes think he/she is on the Xara staff. At one time his/her avatar was a picture of a young boy with an old style flying helmet and goggles.

Thanks Bill. I seem to remember now you gave someone the same info recently but I couldn't find it. Anyway it has saved me a lot of work getting the file back thanks to BB2.
