Need salt and pepper now. I can see tutorials forth coming on that, so long as they pertain to "eggs", must be allowed.
Every day's a new day, "draw" on what you've learned.

You try to be friendly and helpful Egg and look what happens, people make fun of you, I think its terrible. Now people are saying that you have come out of the closet, is that true by the way because my children watch your videos. In my opinion Egg you should close this topic and give Sally a good hard smack as for Raymond i would put Egg on his face.

I have to admit I'm really enjoying all the humor in this thread, but I actually have a question on the original topic...

I having no problem drawing an ellipse and following all the other steps in the tutorial and in the suggestions.

The problem I have is creating the actual shape of the egg...slightly wider at one end. I drew an ellipse, then tried everything I could think of to re-shape it into a true egg-shape. After more than hour of this, I give up!

Can someone tell me the steps necessary to make the actual egg shape?

I fully expect to be embarassed by the simplicity of the answer...sigh...

    Cheers folks,

I really enjoyed the animations. I might even use Sallys as a "Stay On Topic" image. I don't fancy eating Raymonds egg, it's far to hairy.

Will I just make an ellipse, convert to editable shapes and then move the 2 East / West nodes down slightly. You could try reducing the roundnest of the top node.

    SNAP Bill!

    Duh....

Thanks, Bill and Egg for pointing out the error of my ways! And I am truly embarassed...

I'd have had much better luck with my own ellipse if I'd remembered to CONVERT TO EDITABLE SHAPES!

I tried everything I could think of, except that...LOL...And I have no excuse other than being tired. Oh, well...

Thanks again. I feel like an idiot, but at least I'm a grateful one!
