Xara Extreme Startup Page

Is there any way to make Xara Extreme start with a US letter page? It always starts with a Custom Page. I tried to change it in the options menu, but it always reverts to Custom Page.

Once you've set up the page settings to the way that you want them to be, including current colors, page size, grid, rulers, and so on, you can do File->Save Template. In the save dialog box that pops up, check the box labelled "Default Template" and then save.

That template will become the new default template, and should be used when you start up Xara.

I had this problem earlier, and the steps Odat spelled out corrected it for me as well.

My default page had somehow become ENORMOUS

Something like 2500 x whatever!

Now it's back to where I like it!

Sorry... It was 2501 pixels wide (I don't remember the height, but it was quite large as well.)

The problem was easily fixed, once I realized it was there, but there were a couple of strange effects. One, when I created a Flash animation and tried to post it on the site. there was a very large open space with a tiny animation running in the middle of it!

Now, all is well...
