I just found a bug in Xtreme Pro...

Hey just realized i said the wrong tool name guys, sorry. It is indeed the "Freehand and Brush Tool", not the Pen tool. (i actually meant the tool that 'looks' like a pen )

This bug is fixed in the Xtreme Pro update that we released onto our web site yesterday. Thanks for reporting it.

I just clicked on update and got the message there were no updates available???

The update only tells you about major changes. For example, if you check for updates using Xtreme, it tells you that Xtreme Pro is available.

Minor patch revisions (this new one is 3.01, December 13th) don't show up there, so you have to download them manually.

Oday, I've looked all over the Xara site, and can't find anywhere to download the patch

I used their search utility, searching for patch and update, found nothing. I'm signed in, so it knows I'm registered, but I still cannot find the update.

Something I'm doing wrong, going to the wrong place, whatever.

Odat and Will, download the 30 day trial then install over your existing November download version. Works a dream. When you start Xara Xtreme Pro for the first time after the install it asks if you want to use the default toolbars or to continue using the existing configurations.

Will, when we were getting updates to Xara X a new install meant you had to reconfigure your toolbar layout and where the plugins were located.

The wonderful people at Xara Group Ltd made it so we could download and install over an exiting installation. We have the choice of going with defaults, which may be what a person needs to regain some gallery or toolbar that is too far off screen to retrieve. Or, we can continue with a custom toolbar layout. The install also recognizes if the program has already been registered and unlocked
