converting type to editable shapes?

Perhaps I'm missing something obvious, but isn't there a way to convert type to an editable shape in xtreme?

Welcome to Talkgraphics.

Select the type (text) and use Arrange Menu > Convert to Editable Shapes. Keyboard short cut is Ctrl+Shift+s.

Thanks! Gee, I feel a little foolish, but once I ungrouped the text, I was able to edit the type as you said.
