Unlocking Xara Xtreme PRO Trial

Dummy here just purchased XXPro and was instructed thusly: "Once you have purchased Xara Xtreme, run the trial version and click on the option Unlock Xara Xtreme. Simply enter the email address and password that you used to purchase Xara Xtreme and click Unlock". Fair enough but I fail to see the option "Unlock Xara Xtreme" on bootup.

The Xara Flash Screen doesn't seem to offer this option. What am I not seeing?!

A step-by-step guide to unlocking can be found here at the Xara support site. It includes a screenshot of what you should see. If it doesn't marry up to what you have, can you post a screenshot of what you do see?

Yup. My opening screen is missing the 3rd option namely to unlock. (Perhaps I have to re-download?)

Carygee, that is the splash screen for the Beta preview version. There is a new Trial download. Go to http://www.xara.com/downloads/xtreme/ and download the Xtreme Pro trial. That version has the unlock button.

You have the old beta, which does not have the unlock option. You need to download the latest version.
