    I agree. In the US it is a standard for a lot of disciplines. In mechanical drawing it is a "B" size. "A" is half that size "C" twice. "D" four times etc.

    In terms of the need for decorative templates in this size, I doubt there would be a huge demand. Those who use the whole sheet for one single image, for example, are perhaps in the relative minority.

    Most using this size do so in order to get a four-page newsletter printed on both sides and folded. Each page is then standard US Letter (8.5 x 11 inches) and there are plenty of decorative templates available (including some great ones from Xara) for that size.

    just another Yank here weighing in that the Tabloid size (11x17) would be a natural time saver for XXP to provide.
