Hue and Sat question

Ok I feel dumb for asking this. I have used Xtreme for a long time. I have a question.

In the movie tutorials there is the tut that shows how to make the gel button. In that tut they show you how to change the color of the button all at once using the hue and sat. I have tried it like they show but when I do it the button goes to a solid color and does not change colors how they show it.

How do I do this? I hope I made since on this question.

Open the clipart gallery, and click 'Get clipart' button. In the 'Example Xara X drawings 1' folder there's a step-by-step tutorial for re-creating the Gel button. Just double click to open it.

The key is that it uses linked colors - so that when you change the master color the other colors that have been defined to link to the master, change their hue in sync.

The Redcar example in the same folder uses the same technique and allows the car to be re-colored very easily.
