XaraLX-0.7rev1763 running problem on Zenwalk-3.0

Hello,

I am trying to create a precompiled package of XaraLX-0.7rev1763 on Zenwalk-3.0.

configure, make and make install went off without any error message. But when I run I get this error message:

deleted stale lock file /root/.XRAR-EXTREME-WX-XaraLX-root.

After this, the initial screen of the program opens shortly and then immediately the program aborts.

But the precompiled version works properly. What is the problem?

I am currently having the same problem in Ubuntu 7.10...

The entire installation went fine and now when I try to run it I am getting:

Deleted stale lock file '/home/josheby/.XARA-XTREME-XW-xaralx-josheby'

I am new to linux and would love to get this working and I love Xara Xtreme... Thanks!

See the GSLICE=always-malloc fix on the other threads about Ubuntu Gutsy. I hope someone at Xara can be persuaded to rebuild another revision with wxWidgets 2.8.0 so this won't keep biting people.
