Great job, Ron. I can almost see where the clay settled a little bit on the lip prior to being put in the kiln. What's the secret of the pot's texture?

Hi, Ron...
This was a great idea. I'd never tried this in Xtreme before, so it seemed like a great opportunity. Here's my contribution to the thread, my very first Xara pottery. (In case you wonder about the "3" in the file name, it's because I saved at earlier stages before this, my final.)
That's a helluva nice greek urn. Nice job.
If someone tried to make me dig my own grave I would say No.
They're going to kill me anyway and I'd love to die the way I lived:

Not pottery, but here's an attempt at a basket...

Ron...
These are really nice. The basket effect is especially cool.
Big Frank...
A compliment from you is a compliment indeed!

Ron...
I'm really disappointed that more people didn't jump in here and contribute their pottery work. I think this is a fun sort of challenge, and would like to see more. I'll make another contribution.
By the way, the niches that I make to show off my pottery are as much fun to make as the pots themselves. Maybe one day I'll try to make pots in some color other than red, but I can't help it...red's my favorite color!
WolfMoonHP,
Really like your shapes and designs. Maybe this thread challenge is too easy for most of our contributors. Maybe I'll try and come up with something else.

I would like to know how did you get the flower design in you woven basket ?
It is a great piece of work it must have taken you ages to get it to look like that.

Whizz Kid,
Thanks, but actually the flower was a drawing I had done along time ago, and so I just did a clip view onto the basket weave. My methods are mostly crap, because I don't put in the time, but here's the file if you want to pick it apart.
Sorry about the file size.
