Ron, I like the idea of having the option to go back later and and alter the curve. However, when I do the control left button, the text disappears instead of the curve line.

    What am I doing wrong?

Norm and Ron: Thanks for that tip. It's better than my deleting it.

"Intbel" ... "Can't" is not an option.

Compliance is futile. Resistance is futile. Just do your own thing an' ignore 'em.

The significant thing here is that the acceleration ratio is greater on the curved line as the distance is greater.

The trick is to do that so the difference is not noticed.

Convert to editable shape (under Arrange), then Ungroup (Arrange), and select just the line and delete it.

    CAREFUL!

If you use this method, then you can't edit the text (you wont be able to correct your spelling errors :-} )

To select just the line, with the text selected press F4 and then select no color for the line. With this way you can still have a line around the text and hide the curved line. The other benefit is that you can still edit both the curved line (as it is still there, just with no line width) and the text itself.

    Hope that helps.
