eyecandy addin - idiot question

just bought the addin, installed restarted xara. Do tell where do I find the filters? Created some text converted to a shape and wanted to add an effect.

Is this an extra filter that you bought ?
It depends where you installed the filter to. The filters that come with Xx are in
:\Program Files\Xara\Xara Xtreme\Xara Picture Editor\PSplug-ins
I would install the eyecandy plugin here.
:\Program Files\Xara\Xara Xtreme\Xara Picture Editor\PSplug-ins\AlienSkin
Then you should be able to see it in Xx.

Thanks problem solved, the module did not offer me any choices where to install it just did it. BY trial and error I found the live effect tool and later that that lead to the cany4000 bits!

It is a long and convoluted path but this is where Xtreme Live Effects Tool looks for plug-ins.

C:/program files/xara/xara xtreme/xara picture editor/PSplug-ins
