    Question Cusps - Double Handles...

(okay I search and the on thread I found that was 'close' was closed; so, if you have answered 'before' - I can't turn it up...)

    Cusp / Handles Question...

Think of a Heart - I would like to know how I can get double handles for the Cusp of the Heart? (heck, I'd like to know how I get double handles anywhere)

( I can take a screen shot in AI if needed to Illustrate -forgive the pun)

    Thanks

click the node / point you want to do that cusp handle. Press the z key. see the buttons in the upper left corner when using the shape tool. the keyboard keys S, C, Z, and L are able to activate those buttons too.

    hope this helps!

    Tom,

    Select the Shape Editor tool.

    Select one of the points/nodes.

The two handles of this node appear plus one handle of the nodes either side.

Click Tab to move around the nodes in turn.

Never new that. I've been seeing the tool tips for years without registering their letters.
Yes, z is the one to make a cusp, s to remove it.

    Great Workbook, Gary!
    The chain is indeed serendipity!
    Loved the logos.
And clarification on use of the nodes.

I've had a code in my node, now I can get well.

    Thanks.
Every day's a new day, "draw" on what you've learned.

Great Heart Egg - Is that a Double Handle Cusp point at the bottom of the Heart?

    Tom,

All joints between curved sections of a line are double handled, wether cusp or smooth. To see both handles click on that particular node.
