X1 Install CD doesn't work

I have the download version of Xara X1 running on my work computer, but the CD version simply won't install. I walk through every step through choosing the options to install. Then I click next, the install window closes and nothing happens.

I'm running XP on a Pentium 4 with a gig of memory.

Anyone else have this problem? Any suggestions

I had the downlaod version installed and when I tried to install the CD version, nothing happened.
What I did is deleted all the Xara-X1 related keys in the registry (REGEDIT) in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE and HKEY_CURRENT_USER. rebooted the computer and the CD installtion when fine.

I run XP Pro with P4
