Multi-colour text outline.

Looking at this original post I'd never have thought of doing it that way.

How I have been creating a multi-coloured outline to text is to:

Create text.
Create copy and convert to shape.
Give the shape no fill and a line width which will make the whole shape larger than the original text.
Once again convert to shape.
Now the outline you have made is a shape and can be filled as you choose with the fill tool.
When done, send to back.
