Any Developer Notes on Writing Compatible Plugin's?

I haven't found anything particularly helpful yet on the normal Xara site, but I might be looking in the wrong places.

Are there any developer notes/documents/api's for writing new plugin's compatible with Xara Xtreme?

Xara uses .8bf filters - a Google search will reveal mountains of information.
