    Talking Renaming the js file

ok, im using webstyle 4 and dreamweaver 8. And I was wondering once I created a navigation in webstyle and use it on a web page I created. What im wondering is can I edit the name of the js file since i believe the default menu name is xaramenu or something like that. I havent tried this in fear of running into a lot of problems.

Default Re: Renaming the js file

The js file is named to match the name of the menu.

When you save the menu, save it with a name (use no spaces, lowercase, no characters other_than_underline) and your menu will be saved with all images, and js with a name to match.

You can create several menus like this. Each has a its own name.

If you have created a menu and want it to be other than the name you have, open it, then save it with another name. All images and file will have the new name.

Don't just go to an existing menu folder and change the js file name as that WILL cause the code to fail.
