    Default Xara Xtreme photo fade?

Hi all, I would like to Have some of the pics on my web site have a faded edge. Or transparent edge, not shure what to call it. Just so the pic blends in the background a bit. Just dont know how to do it. Any one know how?
I have Xtreme, webstyle, and 3d6 all new versions. Thanks, Mike

2 ways I can think of:

    - Select the picture and use the feather slider to feather its edges

    - Assuming the pic is a rectangle, you can add a Diamond transparency.
I think you'll want to mess with the transparency's "Profile" too to get the right effect

    Hi Mike,

whenever you search the last threads in this forum, you will recognize, that my favorite recommendation is, to look at the Video tutorials delivered with Xara Xtreme (Menu "Help" -> "Movies").

There is a great movie called "Photo composition" in the section "Working with photos" which demonstrates a lot of techniques to work with photos in Xara Xtreme.

    Regards,
    Remi

Just use the slider tool and you can fade the edges as much as you need.

Pringels, beer and fishing. The only thing I was missing was the cigar.
