    Default eps conversion

Firstly apologies I know I've been down this road before but I've never got the result I wanted.

The attached logo0 needs to be converted to an eps file. So after trawling the forum thought I'd try the suggested convert to PDF then open in illustrator etc etc.

So I exported and got the following error

    internal program error 84.k.cx.mp

Pity cos although the file is not all there what is look perfect.

Can some one try to convert to PDF and let me know if it's my PC or the graphic

    thanks

    Ian

"84.k.cx.mp" when exporting everything and even "access violation" once when exporting without text
But it works fine if no groups are present so simply ungroup everything

This error indicates a problem outputting a bitmap. This is probably a result of it needing to convert a transparent object to a bitmap. There are a number of known bugs concerning group transparency and the fact that ungrouping everything fixes it leads me to suspect that this is another example. I will add this problem to our bug DB and it will be fixed in due course...

Oh, hidden ellipse... that explains the mystery. I saw it only in exported file where it "suddenly appeared"

Thanks everyone just in case anyone lost the plot this is what I did - and it worked. An amalgum of everyones input.

    1. Broke all groups
    2. converted all test to shapes
    3. Exported to PDF 1.3
    4. Opened in illustrator
    5. saved as illustrator eps and checked it
