Line thickness

Hi, I am trying to convert standard line thickness from the drop down menu to 4.75 the Xara Photo and Graphics Designer 9 won't allow me to complete this operation, any suggestions please?

Harvey does this look like what you are doing (see red ellipse)? Works for me.

also I have determined that line thickness is a bit confusing as the line thickness is split between the edges example a 2.oo line thcikness give 1px on one side and 1px on opposing side of the shape.
My own opinion.

harvey's original post seems to have gone missing...

as I recall I think he was referring to changing the drop down entries permanently - which I believe you can do in designer pro version 9, but not sure about p&g version 9 - and so I could not de sure enough to answer [as I am using pro 8]

either way - should be able to do it with XaReg ver 2.5 [on the lists tab]

maybe the idea is a default line thickness for new document at 4.5 whatever-the-units-are ... but I still can't answer for version 9

Is there an error message displayed? What does the system tell you?

I can change the thickness of the line without any problems.
