Need help with distorting text

Hi everyone -

I am in need of help distorting text for a logo. I need the text to arch, and then flow from thinner on the ends to fat in the center. Here is what I want the text to look like --

How do I do it in Xara Xtreme?

Any help will be appreciated!

Look up 'Mold Tool' in the help file. It does exactly what you are looking for. Also, there is a workbook on it, and I believe there is another one in the Xara Zone somewhere...

Welcome to the Xtreme Conference

Check out Tony Robert's Molds. Tony has designed several sets of envelope shapes which are free to download and use in Xtreme and previous versions.

You can copy an envelope shape when the Mold Tool is selected and then select your text and press the Mold Tool > Paste Envelope icon on the Infobar.

Once you have applied the envelope, you may need to adjust the hight or width of your text. You can also edit the envelope with the Mold Tool.
