importing files

Hey there, new to Xara, but know i'm gonna love it already.

I read that it could import various other file formats, but i've been trying to import some old .ai files and it won't read them. I wonder if i'm either doing something wrong or i misunderstood, and they cannot be imported.

any help would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the Xtreme Conference

Xara can import up to version 8.0. So if there is a way to export files to that version you should be able to import the files.

Is this the case?
