    Default having a bitmap problem

I have created a picture with a transparent background and when it is in xara it looks great but when I try to either save or export it as a bitmap it gets white lines going through it. What am I doing wrong? I have attached both files so you can see what I mean.

You will get lines if you export a bitmap as a GIF, because it has transparency.

Export as a jpeg file and you shouldn't get any white lines.

More likely the GIF has a limited set of colors (256), and it won't be capable of a smooth blend.

Are you referring to the "banding" in the gradient fill?

If so, select Error Diffusion Dithering. (See attached) or export the image as a JPEG. You won't have transparency with a JPEG but I don't see why you would export this with transparency anyhow. Am I missing something?
