Clearing the Clipboard

Clearing the clipboard in Xara has come up several times.

I put the clipboard on my desktop, and open it when I want to get rid of it's contents.

Go to c:\Windows\System32 right click on clipbrd.exe and send it to your desk top.

Hope this helps, in Windows 98, it was easy to access the clipboard, because they had it in Accessories.

Judi, thanks for the reminder! I think I've gotten totally pushbutton lazy in the past 10 years. I knew that clipboard existed and was easy to get to either by your method or start>run> clipbrd.exe. But, have become exceedingly lazy with Windows making everything accessible by clicking a button.

BTW, I even put clipboard access in a couple of applications I wrote way back when. Nothing worse than a lazy ex-programmer!

I just copy something very small to the clipboard, paste and delete it.

it's a multiclipboard AND MORE - VERY USEFUL!!!!
