Bugs
====

Current Xara Xtreme build contains all bugs posted in message Xara Xtreme 2.0a DL Oct 10 2005 report, except the following:

Miter, Round, Bevel joint settings in Bevel tool do not work.

The 'Sequence' progresses in 'Edit Brush Dialog Box - Spacing Tab' does not work.

In addition, current build has the following bugs:

Installer
---------

During installation, when no file is chosen to associate with Xara Xtreme, installer keeps on installing context menu entries for .bmp, .gif, .jeg, .jfif, .jpeg, .jpg, .png to registry. When I choose not to associate a file type to Xara, it is Xara's job NOT to sneak in context menu entries.

During installation, 3 copies of Xara Xtreme PDF Export Filter Overview are installed, which includes 2 copies to Filters\PDFFilter\locale\help directory, and 1 copy to HelpAndSupport\ENG directory. Only the copy in HelpAndSupport\ENG should be kept.

Format
------

Ordered dithering is only available when Palette and Colour depth are set to Browser and 256 colours respectively. This option should be available on all colour depths.

PostScript-based export format (Adobe Illustrator, ArtWorks EPS, Adobe PDF, Xara X EPS) uses inconsistent Export Options dialogues. In the case of Adobe Illustrator, ArtWorks EPS, there are no options. Those should be combined.

When changing a brush's shape from normal line to others, the line colour is not preserved. For example, when setting the line colour to red, then switching brush from normal line to foot (default), the line colour becomes black instead of red. A line's brush shape should be adjustable independently of brush shape's default colour. In Xara Xtreme 2.0a, when that happens, changing brush shape to anything except normal line will cause the line to be drawn using the brush's default colour rather than the colour in the colour selector.

Picture Editor
--------------

If the image is taller than the XPE window height, scrolling downward causes the pixels underneath the bottom margin be displayed incorrectly.

Send to Windows Picture Editor causes file to be printed instead of opening associated picture viewer. In some cases, the command does nothing. This did not happen on Xara Xtreme 2.0a.

Others
------

When applying bold font effect on text written by a font without a separate bold font, bold effect does not work.

the most annoying bug for me is the "paste attribues" bug:

sometimes it works to copy attributes from text to text sometimes it does't.
