The main thing I will say about your project is that the glass needs to look more like glass and take the reflections on from the things around it. Two things that you could do one thing is have a look at the tutorial that Egg did about 4 years back it was a guest tutorial and the other thing is also to have a look at Garys latern which eas the main tutorial for May. Both of these tuts will help you achieve a more realistic candle lanteren.
