Default Where is the live CD?

..the one that has everything xara (samples, dependencies, docs) already set up and ready to go?

You mean as a complete Linux LiveCD with a Linux and Xara already installed?

That would be nice, but not a priority for us rght now.

OK, I see it probably doesn't exist yet. One of the multimedia based distros might add xara. I should post elsewhere then.

I asked because a liveCD can be a great marketing tool, but also I got the impression xara is still a bit difficult to install since it is so new and it may not yet be part of debian or some other integrated package system.

Then again, xara is not fully cooked anyway.

Wish I were posting to say I had such a distro ready to go. Sorry.

    Hozelda

SimplyMepis 6.0 beta 4 is a live CD with XaraLX with demo files all pre-installed, no need to install to hard disc.

    Try:
    ftp://ftp.ibiblio.org/pub/linux/dist.../mepis/testing

I'm sure many other dists will soon follow suit
