auto neat inking? auto straightening?

Hello Painter noob here.. is there an option or filter that straightens my line work? If so can it be applied from a black & white scan?
I'm talking about comicbook type line work here.

What you can do is draw paths over the artwork with the Pen tool and you can have your painter strokes snap to the path with various degrees of fidelity.
