Saving slices

Hi i have a problem when slicing images for the web xara adds on a extra pixel in height and length can anyone help?

Kev,
This could be because the image in xara is not exactly the required size ie.
110pix wide image should be 110pix ... Not 110.6pix for example.
Xara will go to the next WHOLE pixel.

To solve the problem at the moment i have reduce my backgound graphic by one pixel in height and length before exporting it to gif. If anyone has had the same problem please let me know.

My sizes are all rounded up to the correct size i need 720 x 100 pix thats why am finding it a bit strange.

What I like to do is create my slice shapes in place on the image where I can make sure they are exactly the size they should be, then set the shape transparency to 100%, select the shape and export each shape separately. The I reassemble the slilces in my web program.

Make sure your slice shape has an line width of .25pt. or less.

Thanks for the advice it works if i export each slice then arrange then my self in my editor. The export images in slices seems to add on pixels from somewhere may be a bug!
