    Question memory loss

    Hi

Whilst experimenting yesterday I created the attached file.

I thought it was aletter with a shadow at the front. Clearly not as I cant replicate a letter in front of the main text.

Can someone tell me how I did it? The status bar shows it as one object

    thanks

    Ian

It appears just to be a letter with drop shadow to which you've applied a transparency, see pic. (I don't have the same font on my computer, so it looks a little different. But, it is a screen grab from your .xar file)

    Hi
Looked at yor file and you seem to have five objects. When you right click on your letter / convert to editable shapes and ungroup it breaks apart to a partialy transparent 'J' with four seperate shadows overlaid on each other.
You should be able to reproduce it by taking your letter 'J' making it say, 50% transparent and applying a shadow.
