    Default Duel Monitors

I can't believe I am just now discovering this, but if you have duel monitors and do a printscreen, it captures BOTH display devices, not just the one where the active application is being displayed.

If you need to a make a bitmap of a long, narrow image in a hurry, this is one way to do it without having to do any cropping.

The attached file is a screen capture of my laptop on the left (wide screen at 1920x1200) and my ViewSonic P220f crt on the right (at 2048x1536). Because the two display devices have different aspect ratios, the black area at the bottom of the left half was added automatically to make up the difference.

Yes, that's standard Windows operation. And for those that find this a problem, another tip is (while in the program you want a screengrab of) hold Shift while pressing Print Screen and you will get just that window.
I'd start a revolution, if I could get up in the morning.

I think you mean hold ALT while pressing Print Screen...

Aside: I was expecting to see a graphic of two monitors with pistols when I read this topic...

I was expecting two hillbillies with banjos-no, wait-that's dueling banjos!

So, like do dueling monitors throw TIFs at each other? And if they did, could we say they were throwing a TIFFy fit? How exactly would that work?
