Default Picking up certain object in a photo

    Guys,

I'm totally new, and just lost my way now. I need to know how to extract an object from a photo.

Example from the attachment; I just want to extract the man from the pictura and place it somewhere else. How can I do it?

    Hi Darkdill & Welcome

The only way to do this in XaraX is to import it, then open the Layers Gallery and Lock that Layer.

Create a new layer. This will be on top of the original.

Select either the Freehand or Shape Editor tool.

Draw around the outline of the man.

Continue until you close the line so it becomes a shape.

    Unlock the original layer.

    Select All

Arrange / Combine Shapes / Intersect Shapes.

This will just leave the man. You can adjust the nodes with the shape editor tool to fine tune the mans outline as well as applying feathering to soften the edges.
