    <it's kind of mean-spirited
and that was never my intention, nor i doubt was it norman's>

I apologize but I don't intend to be mean spirited here. I really enjoyed yours and Norman's remarks, they made me laugh starting with the boat I and have just been replying in good humor. I have been concentrating on both your threads because I really appreciate the art and talent you both are posting. Don't take me too searious or I'll have to change my name to Pigion.

    Excellent job on the stapler!

I used those types of staplers before in their various sizes.

We had a giant version of one of those, that was supposably a book-type stapler. It only worked about 20 percent of the time, probably because it was much abused.

    Nice work Bob.
If you use more contrast in the crome will look better.
you will se what i´m talking.
Now i´m workking a draw of a crome watch in xara X now i have made the perspective and the base. the crome is not easy but i´ll try to make more photorealistic possible.

    Another nice one Bob.
and thanks Frank, I must say I took your remarks as joking. on CB radio a lot of the humour(humor) is of the slagging varietyand one learns to hold one own
    in the interplay on words.

Thanks Parahandy and I'm glad you put the u in humour. I hope you also include it in the word colour, like myself. That's the way I learned it and that the way I spells it, trouble is the computer doesn't like it very much, especially when doing html tags. Now it's late up here, I just got home so I'm off to bed. I want to get Bob's xara file on the stapler, and then download the first two postings of the steps he took and then print them out so I can try and work through them. I was worried he was going to do my staper but it's different so I forgive him. What's holding me up is I can't figure how to elongate a bubble for the stapler body. I suppose I really should try and get over this bubble thing but if I do, then it will just be replaced by something else I suppose, like maybe peanut butter sandwhiches. I think it will be a lot easyer to modify a bubble into a stapler than a peanut butter sandwhich into one but I'll leave this chain of thought for another day.....Goodnight and good health Parahandy.
