- XARAFONT.FON Intallation Failure -

Just downloaded XAXA X 1.0a and cannot install it. I get an error with the XARAFONT.FON file.

I go to Windoes Font Installer as instructed but then it says fiel is corrupted.

Find XARAFONT.FON in the Xara X folder and double click it to see if it's corrupted (comes up as "CCLarge"). If it isn't, uninstall / delete the font "Xara Studio" (= XARAFONT) from the fonts folder and install the good copy.

Given that you've already got a problem, it's possible that "Xara Studio" doesn't appear in the font list because there is a corrupt version of XARAFONT.FON in the font folder. If that's the case, delete the file by investigating the folder using a DOS box.
