    Default torn or ragged edges

Anyone out there in the etheric, can you suggest a good way to make ragged or torn edges such as one might find if trying to create old parchment or a scroll effect. Thanks for any input.

Do a search for 'Torn'. There are numerous postings on this subject.

The edges were erased using Blending Mode Erase in Expression. I used a grayscale stroke in this case.

AutoFX Photographic Edges has a capability, too.

You might mention your available applications to see if it is possible what something you have.

    Hi Manny,

If you use Xara X, X¹, or Xtreme you can follow Egg's mini-tutorial in the thread http://www.talkgraphics.com/showthre...highlight=torn

    Hi!
Don't know what software you are using but Alien Skin Xenofex 2 has a "Burnt Edges" feature which may be helpful?

Manny -- you might also find this mini-tutorial useful. It is for Xara but similar approach could be used in some other programs.
