Default I've upgraded my Colour Picker

I've got a soft spot for tiny, useful (hopefully freeware) utilities. I use screen colour pickers all the time, and my favourite up to now has been "Pixie" (http://www.nattyware.com/pixie.html).

However, I think I've found a better one in "ColorPix" (http://www.colorschemer.com/colorpix_info.php). Again, it's a freeware offering, with standard stuff like a magnifier, always on top etc. but, it also has some rather nice features. You can 'lock' any colour with the press of a single key and you can copy any of the colour values (RGB, HEX, HSB or CMYK) to the clipboard with a single mouse click (very cool).

I don't know all the features of your color picker, but I like mine

Yeah, I like these little color pickers especially ColorPix for it's design and functionality but it still doesn't beat ColorCop which allows you to sample a range or an average of pixels 3x3 or 5x5 like Photoshop does which really is a much more useful way of selecting color especially from photographs. http://www.prall.net/tools/colorcop/

I did some more searching and came up with the color picker post I was looking for in case anyone else is interested.

Anyone know of a Colour Picker that can give you the closest possible match from an array of Pantone Matching System books? Would become very handy in the colour matching
