Actually, I think the real birthday for Jesus in sometime in April. The establishment of 25 December was done about 500 years after the death of Christ so no one really knows when the exact date is. There are some scholars who believe that Jesus's date of birth was made to overlap the winter solstice which is really a pagan (Roman) holiday in which green trees and light were brought into the home to brighten the darkest time of the year.

So, happy winter solstice holidays.

BTW I think the best place to observe and practice religion, any religion, is in the home and in your preferred place of worship. Not all of us are not Christians you know. :-)

I will agree to both statements...religion and politics have their own forum, but it should not be in this venue...So the best to all for the New Year and may the world become a better place...
