I just noticed last night as I was putting my new case into my X1 box that I already had a shortcut card but it had somehow got stuffed into the bottom of the box and didn't want to come out.
Got my copy last night at 8.45. I ordered it from Grey Matter on 28th October.
Very pleased to have got hold of this great program at last.
Hi,
I had already downloaded and installed the latest XARA DL in order to extend the expiration time. Now my CD arrived, pushed and broken (jewel box and CD !) ...
I opened a ticket to XARA, in order to have a new CD shipped.
In the meantime I think that also the latest XARA Download will expire soon.
- How can I survive till the arrive of the (hoping safe..) next CD ?
Regards.

I would like to thank Neil with Xara for responding to this post.Originally Posted by mglenn

Thanks!
However I have recently received an email from Xara support telling me that they could not track my order for X1 and my missing CDs.
The statment was " Xtreme supercedes X1 so they wont send my origonal X1 order, CDs not received"
With the controversy about the differences and pros and cons of each product, I see the necessaty to have both installed.
I am a business owner and a reseller of software.
In my opinion, the worst thing a business can do is not communicate with the customer.
Unless I see better response to sales questions from Xara I will be reluctant to recommend the Xara product line.
I hope my feelings on this change.
The ball is in Xaras court.

FYI:
-Xara Xtreme purchased a few days before Christmas.
-Mailed Jan. 9 06 from England
-Arrived here today (Jan 18 06) in Vancouver BC Canada
-CD in perfect condition! :-)
Well, I was about to start a thread about having to wait more than three weeks for my cd's, but this seems to be normal.
I could've come by train to Hemel Hampstead (I have friends in Berkhamsted).
O well...
