CDs and Manuals are shipping

As some of you have posted, CDs and Manuals are now shipping. They are being dispatched in chronological order, first come first served in other words. We're very sorry for the delay, much longer than we had hoped. It was not helped by one of our printers begin affected by the Hemel fuel depot explosion. But at last they are now going out and everyone should be getting their order soon.

Everyone who is waiting should have been emailed about the program expiry warnings. In case you did not see this, if you get the warnings download and install the latest 2.0e version from our download site.

When you get the CD, please install it from the CD.

Just wondering if we should overwrite the trial or uninstall the trial before installing from the CD?

This is all good news.

And yesterday I received my long-awaited small packet from Xara containing Xtreme...
But now comes the funny part:
Everything perfect:
- CD-Box
- Inlay
- Card with keyboard shortcuts
- Serial Number
!! but no CDs!!

I do hope, the girl or guy who is responsible, did not send out too many of those packets :-)

!! but no CDs!!

Whoops. We have had isolated reports of that before (i.e. about 5 in 2000) with this company I switched back to for the Xtreme run. It seems it's still happening. They explained in depth about how it should happen, and the machine checks barcodes etc. etc. But it would still seem there's the odd one.

I'll make sure you get a CD sent to you. Sorry about that.

I know maak's CD didn't technically arrive in Germany but his parcel did, and others in London and Cardiff got theirs on Monday or Tuesday 19/20th. How disorganised must our country's postal system be - those parcels would have to practically pass by the end of our road here less than 20 miles from Xara HQ, between Xara and London, the road to Cardiff, and the airport - but even trying to bribe the postwoman this morning by giving her a Christmas tip didn't produce a CD or manual!
