    Hello everyone,

I was just wondering if this is a known bug with XaraX1 or what, but whenever I run the program, it takes over all available CPU resources. (80-97% CPU Usage)

As I type this, I'm disabling processes and testing, but so far no luck.

I'm using the trial version of XaraX1 Windows XP Professional SP2 on a Athlon 2600+ with 512 MB of RAM.

Any help I could get with this problem would be much appreciated.

Okay, I've found out that the problem only arises when I've got winamp playing music at the same time. Winamp itself keeps its CPU usage at 5-9%, but XaraX1 shoots up to take over the rest of the cycles.

I'm using Winamp 5. Does anyone know if there's a way around this, short of not using Winamp? (I really need background noise to keep myself focused on anything.)

    Thanks,
    Lothaekor

    hello Lothaekor,

The only time I peaked out my CPU usage is when I load a very large xara file (21,175 shapes) Try load a file with that many items into a computer using bloatware... Lockup...
