    Default Tribute to Scott Joplin

I love piano music and appreciate the works of Scott Joplin. There is now a zip file with "Solace" a composition by Scott Joplin, performed by me. I'm not the greatest at the piano but I was able to edit it in Cakewalk. His must have had very large hands. I can reach an octave, one note passed, actually. Some of his spreads are more like an octave and a half. So this is one of the ones he didn't make such large spreads with his hands.

    Hope you like it.

Cool Re: Tribute to Scott Joplin

    Very nice!

Myself, I play boogie-woogie, although I also play blues on Hammond organ, Wurlitzer electric piano (OK - I actually use a Casio...) and bass guitar.

In case you missed it last time, here's a nice Fender bass:

Ah, I can see the animation now ! I had to turn off my security suite to do so but it was worth it . Nice Avatar too Sally .

Don't know why they call it a 'suite'.....I mean you can't sit on it and watch TV can you ? Have to fix it now.

Usually my doodles don't take so long, this was a two day's doodle.

I did an animation similar to this in Paint Shop Pro several years back, but it is easier with Xara, once you have your shape to use the skew and rotate to change your positions slightly. On items like hands, feet.

Have to confess, I snatched pictures off the internet for the hat and the shoes and made Clipviews of them, rather than spending time drawing them.

Yes, Ahktar, I really drew the avatar and the animation here. I'd run out of money in a hurry paying someone to draw for me!
