I just had to be the first to post. I am so blown away by Mike Ovsianikov's work. I would love to know how much work was done in Xara X and how much is photo blending and hand done.

ALL of his stuff is just thought provoking. Beautiful and gross and mind numbing all at the same time. The two pieces that really got an emotional reponce from me are Discarded Realms and Resolve. WOW! Seeing that dragon all cut up and lying there among the garbage just got me very sad and then the seeing the Statue of Liberty and the skulls, Oooooo, really a hidden political statement, at least to me.

I will look over the rest of the offerings Gary but I really wanted to write this out while I'm feeling so much from this mans work. BIG thumbs up!!

And Gary, as always, very appreciative of the effort and time devoted to this forum and the Xone!! http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/smile.gif

The image link is corrected. Please report any other bad links and I will correct them.

It's good to have an eagle-eyed editorial staff backing me up :-)

I spent what was left of my holiday weekend replacing all the WOOKBOOK titles. In the words of the immortal Rosanna Roseannadanna, "It's always something!"

    Hi Gary,

A little human foilibles never hurt even the gods... It just shows us that you are still human, even tho your skills are superhuman.

Yes... It is Gary the Superwurmmeister! http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif

I wish I had the time to do a Super worm doodle for Gary... The superman crest with a worm instead of an "s".

Maybe he could make it into a T-shirt. http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/wink.gif http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif
