    Default pdf export fails

Today I tried to export a file to pdf and all I get is a error message and Xara freezes. I ungrouped everything, converted to editable shapes checked everything with the tab-key and deleted all "gost" shapes. A few weeks ago I exported to pdf and it all worked fine. The current installed version is: 0.0.0.4358
    This is the error message:

Joto, please can you attach your XAR file and also try updating to the latest version of Xtreme (2.0e) which was put on the Xara web site yesterday.

    Thanks

Hmmm? I get the same error. And Xara locks up and I cannot shut it down.

I tried several things none of them worked.

I tried copying and pasting the label to a new page. No luck.

I tried converting the background border to bitmap. No luck.

    Very odd.

    Gary,

Does it still fail to make the .pdf if you use Acrobat Distiller. I think you have said you have Acrobat Professional.

    Unhappy Re: pdf export fails

    Good morning all,
I have been able to export pdf files, both in the last version and also in the new version, but this past week I am unable to do this.
I get an error messege ( something to do with the pdf filter) and the program shuts down. I uninstalled Xtreme and then re-installed.....no good! Any ideas? I would appreciate any help.
    Thank you,
    Roger

I was able to convert the file by printing to the Adobe PDF printer as I have Acrobat 7 Pro installed. I do not understand why Xtreme cannot export this file.

Prints through CutePDF utility OK but not from X. I tried copying the art from the original doc into a new one, same problem. So it's something in that particular set of objects but I have no idea what.

Could this be a "layer" problem?.......it seems that a single layer has no problems when exporting.
